Just shooting around in practice.

The player weight is definitely there.

The dribble branches are really nice and we finally appear to have some quick sidesteps/stepbacks.

I'm ready to see how it feels vs. defense though.

The aim shooting with RS is *an interesting and tempting to function to master but it will take plenty of practice. *You literally have to aim with the *stick by pulling and moving the bar with RS to the line in the meter as close as possible. I had better success with Kawahi than I did with Pat Beverly. I’m an old head gamer so my dexterity isn’t as sharp 20 years ago. Nonetheless I like the challenge. *On side note the sound track isn’t as bad as I thought. I hope it plays during the postgame highlight options.

So the whole reason for this shot timing is to have your star shooting more rather than your role players. Which in the past a lot of people complained about role players shooting at a higher rate rather than the star players on the team.

Timing definitely took me a minute to understand concept wise.

I think most will initially be put off by it but I'm definitely intrigued after practicing a bit.

Still haven't played vs. defense though so we'll see

Always a big difference with defense, especially if it's a good defender. I always notice that in practice it feels like I can do whatever I want with good precision but against defense and a good defender it's a completely different story.

And obviously it should be harder against defense and a good defender but, IMO, it ends up making the controls feel sluggish instead of feeling like I'm going against a great defender.

Exactly.

Can't really make any final judgements until I see how the defense plays.

I really like the branching so far but if the defense has all those invisible strings like the last couple of years it won't matter too much.
