Need more information, The NBA high in PPG is 117 and the low is 102.9 every team should be consistently breaking over a 100.

21 NBA teams averaged more than 110 points per game IRL.

Is Myleague scoring significantly higher than that?

Also monitor rules that get approved in the off season. If the shot clock rule is changed to 20 seconds that will greatly impact the amount of points scored.

Mainly just adjust those settings, I am sure the same people that did 2k20 will do 2k21 check them out and adjust to liking. Even things like adjusting the fouls on it and turnovers will impact scores.

This.

The default Pace in the game is not a problem IMO in terms of realism (unless you are simming a historic MyLeague).

You need to adjust shot distribution. The one that says better players will get more shots. Bring that down so shots are distributed more evenly.

Also adjust Shot Tendency and Touch Tendency. This has been the best way to control PPG for the past decade of 2k gaming. No change there. Bring up touches and shots for volume shooters and role players. Bring it down for any stars who are averaging too much.

Shot/touch tend is relative though. So if a team has all players with 30 Shot Tend and one guy with 60, the guy with 60 will get buckets. If a team has all guys with 80-90 and one guy with 60, that 60 tendency guy will struggle to break double digits. Hope that makes sense!

2K added MyLeague simulation sliders last year for exactly this purpose. You need to use them to achieve sim results.

Can you DM me a sample of your box scores of the games that YOU played out. And I will figure out a good combination of sliders.
