That's why next-gen, although looks better, but not by much. Seems like they just completely re-use all models from current-gen. The reason why the jump from PS3/X360 to PS4/XBONE is greater, is because they made it from scratch. Can't say 100% from scratch but probably majority of it.

It's the lighting. The lighting is what's selling it for me. My God. Scrolling by the pictures if I didn't know better, I'd literally think that was a real picture of Steph Curry. We have truly entered photo real. Like...wow. The last pillar is figuring out how to simulate human movements. If that can ever look real even when a player is imperfectly controlling the action...man.

Actually nba 2k14's player body types weren't that much different from current gen. The jerseys just fitted much better. We didn't get remodeled player models until 2k16.

I dun know u guys but one look at Lbj I can tell its Lbj so I'm very much contented. No matter how I looked in the previous 2Ks at Steve Kerr or Toni Kukoc or Joe Dumars - they dun look like them at all. Looking forward to see some classic players in next gen ...

15 days out, shouldn't we be seeing more of the game? To be honest we really haven't seen much next gen gameplay for any launch game.

I think it’s just a matter of turning on 2k21 current gen and imagine it with better lighting and you have next gen
