Defense isn't controlled by CPU in this video and the players who controlled it, didn't care about.

For judging defense this video is not appropriated.

Zion looks way to thin around the waist, he is pretty thick in real life

They had me at the no loading screen.

Just tested it on NBA 2K20. 22 seconds doesn't sound like a lot, but that adds up over time. I hope the game boot up is just as fast.

Re: NBA 2K21 Next-Gen Video From the Developers

Animation quality has taken a major hit since NBA 2K16 and its no different here in next gen. However, the game does look good graphically, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed with this gameplay.

I actually like that BI didn't get sucked into a canned animation in that scenario. The user didnt look to contest the drive and BI didnt do some weird unnecessary move like we sometimes see now.

They added the behind the bench coaches. This is a very minor detail that I've wanting for years!

I love Kevin Harlan, but it's going to be good not to hear him every game.

That camera was bananas, it's not the TV cycle cams I've been asking for, but I like it.

Gameplay and graphics are looking amazing. Can't wait to fire this up on the Series X.

Re: NBA 2K21 Next-Gen Video From the Developers

Some things ive noticed about help defenders in 2K is that
1) it takes them too long to react to whats going on so they are always late or absent in rotations. The best defensive players and great defensive teams/units are great at anticipating on whats going to happen next whereas in 2k all help defenders just react (again too late in most instances) to whats going on around them on drives

2) whenever they do decide to react to the play the defensive players are beholden to poor animations to spring action. Look at the GSW help defender on Holidays step back at around 1:37. He goes into a sprinting like animation to cover a distance of like 4-6 feet. He instead should be in a shuffling like animation similar to an onball defensive stance so he can react better to a further drive by holiday or a pass. Help defenders just stand straight up in 2k until its too late
