Why would 2K do this? Why not allow AI NBA players to come in the rec? For example, if the average rating on your team is 92, (ai) Paul George should show up and hop in if you can't find a teammate. Having a 60 overall AI is completely pointless and everyone doubles off of him.

Speed up matchmaking. In previous 2k's you could wait up to 20 minutes. Right idea with poorest execution. I like the aforementioned idea of adding nba players.

Yeah this was very poorly thought out. Rec is my favourite mode and even one of these 60 AI players basically ruins the game. They might as well not be there because you’re essentially playing a man down. I really hope they release a patch for Rec soon because these AIs along with none of the stats tallying or displaying correctly is super disappointing.

If there's more than 1 AI on my team, I immediately quit. I hate doing that but I refuse to play like that. It's stuff like this that makes people question how much 2K is interested in the details and would rather spend time figuring out different ways to monetize the game.

most of the community don't have next gen consoles this was probably necessary until there's more of a player pool

That's why I said add NBA players. 60 overall AI is completely lazy and a terrible solution to an easy problem apparently

Something has to be done until more people get their systems. These 60 OVR AI's ain't it. I like the idea of adding NBA players.

This is killing teams.

Had an AI go to the line this morning for game winning FT's smh.
