Installation stopped (Xbox Series X)

I’ve tried to install the game (physical disc) three times on my Xbox Series X, but on all three occasions, installation stopped at exactly the 94.4% completed mark. When the installation stops, it wouldn’t continue anymore even when I ask the console to resume it. I’m forced to cancel the download as a result.

I have done the following:
- Hard reset/power cycle
- Manual DNS
- Reset router
- Switch instant on with the environment friendly option

Would greatly appreciate your help. Am getting desperate.

unplug the power cord from the socket for three minutes, plug it back up and try again, if that dont work try installing the disc and the patch at the same time and see if it works then.

The disc and patch would install at the same time. Should I do the reverse and choose “update later” when prompted?

I’m sure you checked already, but just in case you didn’t. How many games do you have installed? You might be out of disk space.

That's worth a try too.

I still have disk space, Steve. Only have FIFA and Madden installed. Will give it another go using the couple of suggestions here. Hoping those work.

Finally got to install it! I did a hard reset and unplugged the power cord for five minutes before installing. Thanks for the suggestion bro!
