I've been playing quite a bit of MyNBA Online and trying to understand more clearly how players develop.

I had a question regarding the boom/average/bust system in MyNBA. I'll use an example for clarity. Let's assume you draft a player named "Magic Jordan" and he has:

• Bust: 25
• Average: 25
• Boom: 50

I'm assuming the game uses randomize function with those odds to determine whether Magic Jordan is assigned boom, average, or bust category. My question is: Does that boom/average/bust calculation occur once -or- does boom/average/bust calculation occur every time you reach progression?

I haven't been able to find any details on precisely how the mechanics of the feature work. Probably because MyNBA isn't very popular. The best I found was I've read the boom/bust section of a November 2020 article by Brian Mazique in Forbes and some YouTube videos testing simulations.

Was going to buy XSX half off cause I haven't bought NBA since 2k18, but if Start Today isn't in the game anymore I'm kinda hesitant. Work around or not really? I'm guessing it won't be addressed in a patch...

So finally managed to score a ps5 and was thinking about picking up 2k22 until I watched some gameplay vids on youtube.

It looks janky as hell, like a step back from current gen. How smooth is the gameplay?

So I asked this a while back and never got an answer. Figured it was probably due to the fact that the game hadn't been out for that long. Now that y'all have had the game for some time, has anyone played MyNBA far into the future and can tell me if the commentary and halftime show adapts?

I’d liked to know the answer to this as well if someone goes that deep.

But just speaking from what I’ve observed about the halftime show specifically. It’s very informative but yet very generic. So they give you power rankings and game scores and mention certain teams but never really get too specific by saying many players names. Which I guess is by design so when you play in the future it doesn’t change much.

New account, I dont have privileges to make a thread yet, but Im desperately trying to get help.

Does anyone have a functioning MY NBA online league on NBA 2k22 (Ps5)? I'm trying to have a league with my friends and every time we try to play user games, it gives us the connection to 2k error. We can play CPU games just fine. Its a 29 game, fantasy draft season. Anyone else experiencing this? And if you do have a function my nba online league, whats your secret haha?

I feel like this is a regular question, but I have to ask at this point. Does anyone know what on earth I can save my Pittsburgh Condors expansion build as so that I can go back and make adjustments without having to start back over at square one?

I've tried team names of:

Dors
Force
Pipers

Hates all of them, says inappropriate language. Is it because it says "CONDORS" on my jersey?
