Screw defensive three-seconds.

Imagine if a hockey goalie occasionally had to leave his net wide open. That's this rule.
Exactly. It’s a terrible rule intended to coddle players into appearing better than they actually are (e.g, score easily without much true brute opposition). Far as I’m concerned, if you haven’t been tested via having to drive into a key clogged by big men waiting to pounce you, you haven’t been tested. Rules intended to keep the paint wide open is just soft on top of soft.

Well I think you can blame the Knicks Heat 90s battles for all these rules that favor the offense. They played some ugly games lol. Final scores like 77-70. I didn’t have a problem with it, they were both so great defensively.

I always put high schoolers in the draft.

And as someone said, since I do 29 games/season, I change the playoffs seeding rule for 1 to 16 regarding of the conference. However, I was wondering how does it affect the play-in tournament ?

I agree with you simply because I'm form the 80's/90's era. But, the question is...which centers in the current NBA would actually put somebody on the seat of their pants? I can't count many. There are very few "enforcer" types in todays game. But, I agree...they should add the elimination of the defensive 3 seconds as an option.

I can’t help with that lol. I turn the play in off, I hate everything about it. But I’m old school so I don’t like these changes.

* Change shot clock back to 24 following a rebound.

* Bring back Rookies vs Sophomores

* All Star game top vot getters

* Change the trade rule so you can do something like the 2013-14 Nets when they aquired KG/Pierce.

thats all really. i got into basketball back in 2010, so i try to reinstate the rules from back then.

Yea, I even move teams back where they were when I started watching(80s) or where they were when they started play. Nets back to Jersey, Washington becomes the Bullets(surprised the game even lets me do this) again, Hornets become Pittsburgh Condors, Pelicans return to be the Charlotte Hornets, Grizzlies back to Vancouver, Clippers move to San Diego. Thunder back to Seattle SuperSonics, and I make my own expansion Tampa Geckos.
