Game breaking MyNBA bug (Stuck In 2026-27 Season)

I know a ticket worked for me before, it may help. They will tell you to reset your router or something tho, don't be discouraged.

Maybe 2K’s just predicting by 2026 teams shoot 100 threes a game rendering the game so boring that ratings flatline and NBA shuts down.

Has anybody else tested this? I am thinking about buying the game but won't do it if this here bug is present.

So I tried many things this morning. Resimulated the old save file that I had from this franchise (I always keep 2 or 3 in case of a corrupted file).

I tried everything : reset rules change, add expansion teams, change the draft class, change the settings, nothing works, still don't have stats et can't advance past the 2026 season.

What's strange is that, it seems the season is starting one day too late.

Check this out, this is a normal start to a season :

And this is what is happening in 2026 :

There's already a day simulated and games, when you check the daily view, have no stats or whatsoever.

I can SIMCAST them to have a score & stats. But after that, if I simulate further in the season scores are still not registering. (but I can simcast games that were supposed to be played weeks/months prior and have a score).

Next step would be to SIMCAST all games during the season to see if that means I can advance the season, and if I can, if that issue reappears in year 2027.

That's a new one to me. Hopefully opening a ticket gets it addressed, I doubt it though. I had about half a dozen hard crashes last year with 2K21 because of the Gleague and Euro contracts. As a last ditch effort you could try to deselect all your user controlled teams and try to sim forward and see if that helps.

Does your MyNBA include the g league? If so can you try simulating a file without g league? I’m wondering if that causes any issues.

I removed the G-League from the get go, since there was still that bug where they're all 95 free agents. (And I usually turn it off anyway since it doesn't usually work properly).

Just saw a 3rd person having this problem on Reddit. A little bit worrisome.

GUYS, I FOUND THE ISSUE, NO FIX FOR IT THOUGH.

Ran some tests (I'm on PS5 by the way).

Started a brand new file/franchise, trying to figure out if it's roster related or something like this.

I don't have any problem with starting a new franchise, just don't want to be, again, stuck in 26-27.

So yes, results of the tests :

First test, with local custom roster : Still can't simulate past 26-27 season
Second test, with original roster : Still can't simulate past 26-27 season
Third test, with online custom roster : Still can't simulate past 26-27 season

So I did another run of tests, cause I'm doing my franchises with 29 games.

First test, with local custom roster, 14 games : Can simulate past 26-27
Second test, with online custom roster, 58 games : Can't simulate past 26-27
Third test, with original roster, 58 games : Can't simulate past 26-27
Fourth test, with online roster, 14 games : Can simulate past 26-27
Last test, with original roster, 82 games : Can simulate past 26-27

SO IT SEEMS THAT IF YOU DO A 29 OR A 58 GAMES SEASON, YOU CAN'T GO PAST 26-27, BUT WITH EVERY OTHER SEASON LENGTH IT'S WORKING
