Disconnecting your console from the network is the workaround if you want to finish the game that you already started (It won't even try to save your VC at the end of the game so it won't get hung up). Otherwise, if you don't care about completing the game you already started you can just do what you did.

Copy that. I had saved early in the first quarter so I didn’t care about losing the entire game. Glad to know this worked.

I had this happen today on a game that I played straight through. (Didn't exit and resume). So annoying. I can't believe this hasn't been fixed yet.

Wow really? MyNBA? Xbox or PS5? Online or offline league? That sucks.

Anyone else have it happen playing straight through?

If so it’s prob best to start playing MyNBA games with wifi disconnected, as it’s solely related to your console being online.

Xbox Series X playing MyNBA. My previous game, I had played a game and did a "Save As" to make a backup copy. I loaded my newly created "Save As" file and played a Sixers/Bulls game straight through and got hung at the end.

So weird.

I wonder if disconnecting from wifi while the game is hung up would solve it? I wonder if when you go back into the game, would it just stop the hung up “spinning” since wifi would be disconnected. Has anyone tried that?

I have. It doesn't work. Once the "Quit" icon appears you're done. You have to disconnect before you exit the game.

This is not true, it happens to me even at the complete end of a match, the only solution for now is to disconnect Internet before quitting the match. I opened a ticket sometime ago and 2k suggested me to clear the ps5 cache but this doesn’t solve the issue. At the moment disconnecting internet is the only way to go.
