Not that I care who’s the cover athlete but Booker is kinda meh especially after that historic thrashing.

I’d say it should be Jokic but maybe they don’t want a guy who looks like a warehouse packer as the face of the game. Considering the guy on 2K22 kinda fits that bill too….

Embiid seems like a logical choice. And he needs sigs.

Embiid was on Live ‘19 I believe, I don’t know if that affects his eligibility now tho.

Ja Morant or Jayson Tatum should’ve won, personally. They’re the future: They have the drip, the brand and the kind of flair to their game that appeals to the widest audience.

They also represent some of what’s lacking in recent 2K’s: Amazing fluidity driving to the rim, awesome finishes & elite, all-around defence.

Booker is great and you could probably say he’s the best 2 guard in the league alongside Harden at this point… Still, like you mentioned he had an abysmal Playoffs (especially with the last cover boy being the one to eliminate him lol). Unfortunately, he was likely selected LONG before the PS.

Jokic should be but bigs are not that marketable. That is why they don't get signature shoes anymore. Anthony Davis was the last big on the cover if we want to count him. Does not really play like Jokic or Embiid in terms of bigs.
