Here is a rough draft list of teams I want to use:

Potential Team List

• 2000-01 Sixers (AI MVP)
• 2001-02 Hornets (Baron Davis)
• 2001-02 Bucks (Ray Allen)
• 1993-94 Bulls (Pippen all by his lonesome)
• 1986-87 Bulls (MJ 37ppg)
• 2009-10 Cavs (LBJ choked against BOS)
• 2001-02 Celtics (Paul Pierce in ECF w/ Toine)
• 1992-93 Clippers (No superstar, Manning, Harper, Mark Jackson)
• 2010-11 Grizzlies or current Grizzlies
• 1987-88 Hawks (Lost in 7 Games to Celtics, Nique in his prime)
• 1996-97 Heat (ZO in his prime, lost to Bulls in ECF) or 2003-04 Heat (Wade’s Rookie Year w/ Odom & Butler)
• 2007-08 Hornets (CP3’s best season)
• 1997-98 Jazz (maybe… the only reason I would use them is to beat the crap out of them)
• 2001-02 Kings (C-Webb in his prime, lost in WCF and no they were NOT cheated, they got away with plenty in that series)
• 1999 Knicks (8 seed made it to the NBA Finals)
• Other 80’s or 90’s Ewing led Knicks team of your choosing (will make a poll later)
• 1996-1997 Lakers (Shaq’s 1st season in LA, he was the only superstar at the time)
• 2005-06 Lakers (Kobe should’ve been MVP, this team is garbage)
• 2008-09 Magic (D12 NBA Finals)
• 2002-03 Magic (McGrady almost got out of 1st round)
• 2006-07 Mavs (Dirk MVP)
• 2001-02 Nets (J-Kidd NBA Finals)
• 2007-08 Nuggets (Melo @ his best)
• Pacers will need a poll (1993-94, 1994-95, 1997-98, 1999, or 1999-00)
• 1984-85 Pistons (Young Isiah Thomas)
• 1999 Pistons (G Hill’s last year in Detroit)
• 2000-01 Raptors (VC went to college graduation day of game 7 vs AI)
• 1992-93 Rockets (“Dream” lost in 7 games to Sonics)
• 1994-95 Spurs (Admiral MVP)
• 1999-2000 Spurs (Duncan injured missed round 1 of the playoffs, lost to Suns)
• 1992-93 Suns (Barkley MVP) or 2005-06 Suns (Nash MVP and no Amare)
• Current Thunder w/out Westbrook
• 2003-04 Wolves (Garnett MVP)
• 1991-92 Blazers (Drexler lost Jordan in NBA Finals)
• 1999-2000 Blazers (Blew 15 pt lead in 4th qtr of Game 7 ☺ )
• Current Warriors
• 1990-91 Warriors (RUN TMC)
• 2005-06 Agent 0 Wizards squad
• 1993-94 Nuggets (monumental upset in round 1 vs Sonics)
• 1997-98 Hornets (Glen Rice in his prime)

For the Sonics I want to use a pre 1995-96 Sonics team (before they changed Jerseys and arena floor). Once I buy full version of RED MC I'll know if I can do it or not. Otherwise it will be 1995-96 Sonics.
love this idea, wolakfan......

2) 1997-98 Pistons missed the playoffs, so unless you provide me with a compelling reason I won't use them.
3) I'll think about 96 Mavs because I think they would be fun to play with, but they only 26 games so it's hard to justify them being on this roster.
4) With the Clippers RayRay34 already has the young guns Clippers of the early 2000s on his rosters so I want to go outside the box and use 90's Clippers.
5) This team interests me and I might use them instead of 93-94 Nuggets.
1. I forgot t-mac was apart of the team after the lockout season. Did not take a look at the roster was just going from memory.

2. The earlier pistons team due to the fact they made the playoff the next year was due to the lockout season, but that my main gripe with that team. Other than that I think that was Theo Ratliff last year on the team.

I have to go to work right now, just want to remind people to vote for which Indiana Pacers squad you want to see on this roster. The poll closes tomorrow. So far it looks like 2000 Pacers, but we'll see.

Ok so the 2000 Pacers won the poll, I might consider a CAT for one of the 90's Pacers squads down the road. For the Knicks I decided that I no longer need a poll so here is what I am going to do. There will be 3 Knicks Teams:
1) Bernard King Knicks Team... will be the last team I edit, extremely difficult to do
2) Ewing Led Knicks Team (probably 1994)
3) Definitely the 1999 Knicks 8 Seed to the NBA Finals team (will replace current Knicks)

Would anyone be interested in 1997-98 Twolves as opposed to the 2003-04 Twolves? The only reason I ask is because there are plenty of rosters with 2003-04 Twolves and I really want a team with KG & Steph.

I vote for one of the mid 90s Pacer teams, the 91-92 Knicks that lost to Chicago in 7 games, and a Timberwolves team with Terrell Brandon and Malik Sealy, like 99-00. Terrell Brandon in general never gets any love on these classic rosters.
