THE 1992 USA Dream Team Association

Game 1 Dream Team @ USA Select 2013

The game started off as a back and forth contest. No one got a lead until about it was almost the 2nd quarter. The 2nd quarter was when things started to go out of control. The Dream Team would just about go on a 16-4 run. MJ was completely dominating the Select team. The 3rd quarter the Dream Team were showing just why they were dubbed the nickname. Rested my starters in the whole 4th quarter and we blew out USA Select in the first game of this mode. The score was 109-94 with 30 points being the most scored in the 4th.

Highlights of the game

For the USA Dream Team MJ lead the game with 20 points which most were in field goal range a couple threes. Patrick Ewing lead with 9 rebounds and 14 points. Other notables included Clyde the Glide with about 16 off the bench, Laetner was even seeing flashes of Duke as he caught a halfcourt pass and went all the way for the jam which he even had about 6, everyone else followed with about 10 points. Magic Johnson also recorded a double double which he had 11 points 11 assists The Dream Teams bench even had 54 points total. For the Select team it was Dwight Howard doing the dirty work with 14 points and 11 rebounds. The Dream Team were about perfect from field goal range and were 6/13 from 3 point range.

Just finished watching a slam dunk contest for my test season, and I gotta say I feel like the game looks better with this. I don't know why, but the overall presentation and look of the players just look amazing and eye pleasing. I know its just a few jerseys but its the best looking jerseys in the game.

I will have a Link up to my season tomorrow. I am running with the 90s College Stars. I switched up one thing I brought Jamal Mashburn to the team, as he was getting NO play with 2000s USA.
