A couple questions: One, there seem to be only a few teams available. Is that because I haven't unlocked the "Greatest Games" teams yet? If so, is there a code or other easy way to unlock them? Otherwise I'll have to devote some time to that before I start in with other rosters.

Also, can you explain what to do with all the sound clips you included, how to get those mp3's into the game? And the art too, if that applies.

Anyway thanks for hard work, this roster looks great. I can't believe people didn't like this game as well as 2k11 or 2k13. I think it's way underrated.
you need to unlock teams since I used many of the retro teams for have a ingame feel of retro. U can unlock them by playing the greatest player mode or finding a setting file that is unlocked. You can download my bulls vs & nba playoffs roster and use that settings file which has everything unlocked. link http://www.operationsports.com/forum...ke-series.html

the sound clips you have to burn to cd then rip to your xbox then set up playlist and set those how you want it in the game. Or link it threw windows media center on your pc and like to you xbox and make playlist and set up in game.

the art is something I do for u my roster mods cant be put in game.

hope this helps you.

Re: NBA 2k12 "2k" 1999-2000 Retro Set (Remake Series)

Just got a chance to take a good look at the roster. As always it looks great hokup! I like the way you gave arenas a retro feel by getting the court colors correct. I actually did the same thing for the '97 pistons on my nofinalsteams roster. However, I was unable to figure out how to use a cat logo with cat colors on the court while still using a retro jersey instead of a cat jersey. It's like it would always default to using a cat jersey when I turned "use custom colors" on in reditor.
Grizzlies uni and logo was about the best you could do w/ what you had to work with & it looks good. Why the visual concepts court though? Couldn't you do something similar to the pistons?

Anyway, the player faces are spot on as well. Pierce, Illgauskas, A.Walker, A.Griffin, S.Bradley, M.Jackson, just to name a few. It seems like Rodman's face was edited too but I might be wrong. Even that young Nash you debated on turned out pretty good.

I played a quick game of mavs vs kings and the gameplay was both realistic and fun. The kings (cpu) were quick up&down the court and pulled up for 3's & other jumpers constantly in their true-to-life free-wheeling offense.

Only thing I wasn't crazy about was some of the player ratings, but that's no biggie and sort of expected when 400+ players have to be rated. I actually just finished a stats database that has every player's shot location stats from 1997-2014 so I'll tinker with the shooting ratings a bit.

And thankyou for the music files, as it will add so much to the game presentation! I could never find an nba on nbc download w/o the talking in the middle of the music.

Back in 2000 I was an nba-live gamer, didn't start playing 2k til '2k5. But this roster definitely brings me back to that era.

the issue with the grizz court was some werid bug with the team and the court. The court would be brown . would not allow me to do the court colors right. So I went with the next only option.

thanks, it is possible but I wont do it, I don't think it would be as good because many players were no longer there and unis are gone and also the ability to remove the black arms.

I still plan to make retro remakes rosters for 2k12 for 360 in future . But right know I am working new things for the 2k14 on pc only.

not really since so many players faces and retro unis are not there it would not be the same. If I do retro roster on console it will only be for 2k12. But like stated before I working on projects for 2k14 pc. I am actually re creating my USA Basketball Historical World Challenge Roster http://www.operationsports.com/forum...ter-360-a.html from 2k12 on the 360 but expanded version of it based on this yrs world cup for 2k14 on the pc.
