Re: Lets talk sliders out of the box

So far I love the game. The CPU does drive to the basket to much and no fouls are called. Does anyone have any suggestions to get more fouls called for CPU and User? I have everything up to almost 90 and the last game I play the CPU only had 5 trips to the line. Thank you

Played Pro/default for several games.

Shooting percentages are generally too high, like 65% high no joke. The CPU loves to gobble offensive rebounds, including point guards snatching away from guys like Love and Howard. It feels like a glitch, something is off because you can't prevent it.

The scores have been too high, like in the 120's for 12 minute quarters. Mostly because I feel like I can score at will and shoot high percentage, while the CPU might miss but they get second chance points almost every time down.

I will try SIM for a bit.

Playing on pro sim and like the feel so far. Shooting percentage may be a tad high (user timing). Love how the cpu is playing. Scared to go to all star because I hear its PiP fest from the CPU. Right now i like the CPU shot selection, slightly high PiP because of offensive rebounding being a bit skewed. initiating a good amount of contact so far, but liking that Im getting beat by CPU guards from time to time, especially the quicker ones. Matchups matter. had to move kobe over to guard CP3 to hide Nash deficiencies in one game I played. only thing im thinking of adjusting is shot sliders and rebounding.

Re: Lets talk sliders out of the box

here's a question regarding foul sliders...do those mean you get more calls for you or against you? like shooting fouls for human - if you increase it to 100, do you get more calls for you or against you??

I'm finding Pro/Simulation to be a nice fit. When the next roster update hits I'll be starting my Association rolling with that. I get to the foul line quite a bit and so does the CPU.

Are you guys using real % or user timing for shooting? I was playing on Pro simulation, using real % and was getting high shooting %s. Anyone toned down the shooting sliders?

Are you guys getting a consistent challenge on Pro/Sim? I only played one game last night (my Knicks @ Bucks), and I won without much trouble. I figured I'd move up to all star, but I don't want the AI to forgo team tendancies and constantly force passes into the paint.

played four games - first game got handled (i was minnesota vs brooklyn) i made alot of bad controller mistakes)

second game controlled the whole way - won with the knicks against washington

third game I was LA Lakers - almost collapsed against clippers - held on for the win.

fourth played an extremely close game - i was boston against spurs - went back and forth - ginobili hit 3 against me to go up 1 with 3.2 secs left, i then drilled a buzzer beater which i had to celebrate in silence because my wife was asleep and it was 2 am lol.

shooting percentages ranged from 45-54 percent - trying to decide if i want to lower a click or not. having alot of fun as is -and i dont want to make a ton of slider changes , especially unbalanced slider changes. with the autosave itll be a pain if i have friends over to play and i want an even game, i'll lose all changes.
