wanted to share something..i hope you find this useful..this situation is AI vs AI or AI vs human.
I thought that charging foul is really messed up coz i "rarely" see AI do a charging stance. Charging fouls in the game normally happens only when offensive players backs down, and that's frustrating coz I wanted to see AI do a charging stance against my player and being called for a charging foul.
This is what I did...
1. lower down the CONTEST SHOT between 20-30
>> higher values will lessen AI's take charge tendency, coz obviously it will try to block the shot
>> at zero, I still saw AI contesting shots but not as often as it should be
2. Tweak COMMIT FOUL tendency
>> when I saw AI doing a lot of charging stance I almost jumped from my seat, I was happy, as expected another challenge came up. NO FOULS were called!!! Damn it, why do we make our gaming lives so diificult. And this is also kinda unexpected, coz I'm trying to solve a different issue but another one was resolved. It kinda makes some sense though, AI will try to commit the foul, it's up to another slider if it will do a take charge, reach-in, blocking, etc.
Anyway, after tweaking this tendency by some sort a formula relating to actual stats, Charging fouls were called on the ff:
>> backing down offensive players
>> driving players against defensive players in take charge position
>> driving players will push defensive players sticking to them, you have seen that animation too probably (my on-ball defense is between 40 to 46 btw, I don't go higher coz it messes this charging slider)
So that's it, if didn't happen, don't be disappointed, just like you folks, I spent countless hours to satisfy my style of gaming.
I will not post my sliders here as a respect to the host of the thread, I don't like to create another one coz.....I don't know why. Cheers!
