Re: Official - Is This Trade GOOD? Thread

Ok guys well here is what down with my Chi-Town Bulls

My orginal trade can be seen as the first post but after a few opinions i decided i had to retrade because I saved my first trade.

my new trade is here..(Please remember i already did the previous trade.)

Bulls Trade:

Warrick - GS
Walker - GS

Memphis Trade:

Bellinelli - GS
Harrington - CHI

Warriors Trade:

Gooden - Mem
Morrow - Mem

So the Trade worked out pretty well. GS got a PF that is young, explosive, and fast. They recieved a decent outside shot from Walker.

Memphis got a post up PF in gooden and a up and comer SG Morrow.

Chi gets a great PF that orignally wanted to be traded anyway.

What do you guys think of this one?

I guess it's good. Harrington doesn't really give the Bulls what they need as he isn't much of a post presence. He is more of a 3 pt shooting PF.

in my mavs assoc is dampier + singleton + 2nd round pick FOR nene

a good trade?

nuggets will get a slightly better defensive presence, and i improve my offense while lowering the age of my team (the AI accepted this trade, although i didn't save it)

what do you think

I figured it out, I had to quit my team and be another team, do the trade, quit and go back to my team. Funny thing is, Iverson didn't want to be traded! I had to force the trade.

Warriors get:

2009 1st rd pick
SF Jamario Moon
PG Roko Ukic
SG Hassan Adams

I'm the Raptors. I don't think it's too bad but I just wasn't sure if it was realistic or not.
Why would you want to give up your best perimeter defender and a #1 for another shooter when you have Parker and Kapono? Like someone else said you're giving up way too much. I don't like this deal if I'm the Raptors - at all.

would you say this trade isa good or not? any other suggestion for a young SG. i have wright, but he is not doing so well. and green cant hit a perimeter shot at the moment.
NOT - Look...In no way would a young developing team like Memphis want to give away their future for a vet - especially one like Jason Terry - who doesn't really give them anything they don't already have or can develop.

OJ should stay put in Memphis.

You didn't have to quit your team and do all of that. In fact I would've advised against it, since if you're playing w/ Team Chemistry on doing this throws everything out of whack.

All you needed to do was a 3 team trade, including your team, and swapping 2nd rounders w/ one of the teams.

I did the 3-team trade, but traded Willie Green to Denver for Chucky Atkins and Detroit's 2009 2nd rd pick.

In my assoc. I'm using the 'Big 3' rosters so I had Cheick Samb included from Detroit, and Denver had enough players signed to 1 yr deals to send back to Detroit to allow the trade to go thru (Smush Parker and Chris Anderson).

You would've also needed to edit Iverson's & McD's contracts; Iverson's going down and McD's going up. I made them according to what ESPN stated their 2009 salary to be, and the deals went thru w/ no problem.

Man that is a great idea. I have been trying to figure out how to get this deal into my association without starting all over. I am going to try this as soon as I get home as the Thunder.
