What happened to alley oop lay ups?

Did they remove it from the game? I liked it from 2k8 but I have yet to see it in 2k9. Its either they don't catch the ball for the alley oop or they catch it and dunk it.

i'm just glad the alley-oops look so normal this year. you rarely see alley-oop layups anyway.

I was wondering the same thing. Can anyone confirm they've seen a layup via alley?

I'd still like it to rarely done or if you try to alley oop a small guy that can dunk like Ben Gordon he should lay up it once in a while.
