when will online return for nba 2k8?

Many of 2K's previous sports game servers have been closed down. This is the first year that they have ever done such a thing, but their servers needed to be renewed. Many of the 2K9 offerings suffered online, plus, they freed up room for all of the new online stuff they are adding for 2K10. If you read the features list alone for NHL2K10, notice that Wii is online, and that the PC offerings are online, all with the same online features, you'll see why they have done this.

Yea u might as well hop on that 2K10, I been trying to get online with 2K8 for the last few months...no luck at all dude.

Take-two must be really penny pinchin if they can't keep current gen games online lol.

So its gonna be a cycle this generation where I'm forced to buy a newer version of 2k every other year? come on now, that ain't right.

2k8 is my personal fave. There is still a 2k8 crowd, believe it or not. lol

I don't know why you would think that a company would pay to keep servers up for a two year old game when they're going to have a new one coming out in a couple months.

Maybe you're right..but not sure about 2k10. I may check out the competitors game, idk. I'll wait til more info comes out on nba 2k10.

There really much new to offer more in nba 2k10. Idk. I feel like its 2k9.5

I'll wait til I'll see some videos, check out the demo and then play it, if i like it, buy it.

because it happened in the past? and still in this gen? I mean, yes, 2k6 is understandable. No one plays 2k6 or 2k7. But there are alot of people that still play 2k8.

if I have to get a new sports game to pllay online, i probably will.

I just wanted to play my fav that's all.
