There needs to be injury risks for making a bunch of contact plays. Younger players are more adepts at taking contact...and big players

Maybe you forgot the shoulder injury in the 2004-05 season...that was the last time LA missed the playoffs. I mean it's not even just Kobe. Players have nagging injuries when they get older. True they play through it, but they are never 100% healthy.

So by this logic..he has less injuries as he gets older...that was 5 years ago

I understand you hate Kobe but he still possibly the best player in the league and RARELY gets injured

Dude, I don't hate Kobe. All I'm saying is Kobe plays the game differently now that he is older. Because he plays differently, he has been able to avoid injury.

When Kobe was younger, he was an attacker. Kobe has only played 82 games in a season 3 times...two of those times were the past 2 seasons. So when Kobe was younger, he missed games due to injury. Kobe has played less than 70 games 4 times in his career (not counting the 50 game season).

Because Kobe switched up his style, it allowed him to stay healthier. That is ALL I'm saying. It has nothing to do with me hating Kobe. The point of this thread is that there needs to be a risk for using an older player like a young player.

31 isn't that old what is this?

Kobe has no problems playing 40 minutes a game and deserves 95 stamina. He's in as good or better shape than any player in the league.

Thats just the thing ...just because a player is older doesnt necesssarily mean hes injury Prone or at risk for injury
