My Player Roster/Slider help (PS3)

Hi guys,

I was hoping you folks could suggest a roster and slider set for me on PS3 (it will be for the PS3)? Also, any tips or anything else I should look for before I start the My Player mode? I just completed the Draft Combine and am looking forward to starting up My Player very soon.

Personally I play 9 minute quarters and I went with playmakers sliders from the sliders section for the most part. Seems to lower shooting percentages some but maybe not quite enough.

Do you think lower shooting %'s w/ 12 minute quarters would work? I love having authentic stats even minutes played. How about Roster's? Are their any you would recommend?

As far as the 12 minute quarters I would suggest even further lowering of the shooting sliders and maybe lowering the game speed. Another thing you might try is raising coaching tendencies geared toward running plays so teams might try taking longer on offense. With the ones I have my team is still near 50% from the floor. Also, you are probably going to want to avoid using the sim till subbed in feature then as it is geared toward 5 minute quarters and will lead to very high scores (my team was averaging 130 a game when I was only playing about 10 minutes on 9 minute quarters).

I have not tried any rosters other than the default ones.

Take someone's sliders, Playmakers for example, play a quarter or half and just continue to make adjustments along the way...

You really have to tailor sliders to your particular play style.

If you play 12 mins Q's, I suggest you try my sliders. As far as rosters, I downloaded the lates Living Roster update.

Thanks guys for your suggestions. I read somewhere that you get locked into your settings in My Player (don't know if that's 100% true though) so I wanted to get the sliders right so to speak before I started. Thanks again.

Hello All,

I've read around the forum and have seen that others say this is possible. I was wondering if this is still effective after the patch though. If so this would be great, because it would mean that sliders and other options (somewhat) work in My Player.

Yes they fixed the minutes so we can change it for My Player, but it is still riddled with gameplay problems. Can anyone confirm this? and if so, also give directions on how its done. (I already own draft combine). Thanks a ton, in advance.
