Don't you have to play all 82 games in MyPlayer mode?

I have the intention too every year, but something always drives me short. The last time I did it was around 1994 using the Charlotte Hornets. Most years I get to about 60-65 games then sim into the playoffs.

I did with nba2k9 and starting this year i plan on doing it also.

I play all 82 games on 12 min quarters. That's the only way I play because if I finish a game early then I don't want to play it anymore. It keeps me going and see how good of a record I can make rather than the computer dictating it.
