agree with your statement except for the animations being overdone. I notice the bigger and stronger the player is the quicker they recover from contact and hard fouls.

I wouldnt expect Curry, Rajon, etc to be able to recover quickly from contact after driving to the basket and missing.

Re: After a missed shot

I think right now its is on a good place. I like how it works. Because I rememeber like I said my friends use to beat that tip in animation to death. I would see it at least 5-6 times a game.

I like the idea of players with high offensive rebounds being able to break of of those animations early. But the same should go for the defense as well. I think the defender should have the advanctage. Because of what I said above.

Also I don't want to reward players for taking bad shots. And being able to recover for the easy tip-in. That would become a huge problem.

But again I think right now the way it works is perfect the way it is.

True, 2K is trying to find that happy medium. I think its close but not perfect yet. When I miss a two foot shot for whatever reason and ball literally falls in front of my face, why wouldn't I reach out and attempt to grab it. I should be able to make an attempt, thats what bothers me. An animation takes over and there is nothing that can be done ... so like u said, at times the animations are a bit much. So being able to break from an animation at given moments would have my vote

Of course this isnt a deal breaker, just something ive noticed ... thanx for the feedback guys, appreciate it!

Re: After a missed shot

But my thing is...I don't want guys to take bad shots. But know that this guy will break his animation. So I have that chance to get the ball back in. So that means they will keep taking those bad shots. Looking to be rewarded. Know what I mean? Like the way it is now. Some guys I know don't drive the ball into the paint like they use to (recklessly..) Now they actually try to make sound plays to get to the basket. Which I can deal with.

Basically I'm talking about cheesers.
