Issues w/ ball handler text?

I have the ball handler text set to just show the player's name (in the presentation settings) but recently i noticed that now players like joe johnson has a "3" next to his name, and dwayne wade has a "glove" underneath his name in the ball handler text... and i'm wondering if there's a way to turn this off... i remember this feature in madden 09, i think it was called "player weapons" which shows what a particular player is good at. But to me it just junks up the screen and is very annoying, any way to rid myself of this feature, and why don't i remember seeing this in any previous games... anyway i just noticed this

I don't know if you can turn it off, but really, it isn't even that large

No, it can´t be turned off. Only on the PC-Version, this stuff can be editited away with a mod.

Hahaha, it's not a glove, it's a wing. I presume that means that he can dunk like a maniac. I've seen it on Jamario Moon, J-Rich, Lebron, among others.
