No matter what I feel like 2K11 will still be a cheesefest online

If they dont ... hopefully you know your post moves .. most people (cheesers included) will double instantly tho .. so try to keep them honest from jump by letting them know you will drop a 3 in their face -------------------- If you're having trouble shooting tho -- you'll have problems .. find a good shooting team and practice. --------------------- These are general basketball knowledge things that wont change in any year ... fyi. But sometimes you gotta practice w strong sims to see what they're doing. Again .. the offers there if you need it. Gamer tag should be listed.

Yeah and it looks like we got some help in the pt this year .. so sit tight . Be positive .. remember if those teams didn't have the whole world watching them when they played .. there would be a lot of cheese going on in the games too. That's the price you pay for having that luxury in your living room. Find the work around and keep it moving ..
Worst thing 2 could do is compromise the integrity of the game to accomodate these people. Worst possible .. find some good peoples to play with and let them all cheese each other out ...

They probably wont play you many more times after that .. because they prefer those easy formula wins .. dont be the one that gives it to them man.

I really miss the lobbies that contained Long game settings, it really reduced the amount of cheesers i saw because even if u are desperate for a win and will cheese to get it....do u have that amount of time to spare for one measly win?

the answer was most did not


other added benefits were u had to use your bench, no more calling 5 time outs in a row so u can leave your starters on the court the entire game.

Goodtimes, that was the 2k version i played the most

Matchmaking in theory is great, but if it doesn't place you in the type of games you would have started using the lobby system it's a failure. Unfortunately that's what we have with the extremely basic matchmaking of 2k.

I remember in 2k7 and 2k8 people (including myself) would mix their game game up because it would be harder to get a game if people looked at your V.I.P. and saw 90% drive, 90% shots in paint or only paint and 3's without mids. It forced gamers to balance their game out a little bit. Also encouraged people to finish games.

They need to bring that fear back, but even stronger. If you have an ugly profile your matchmaking should suffer. I doubt they will ever do that, but gamers will adjust. If you let them know that poor shot distribution, negative feedback and failure to finish games will make it harder for them to find matches trust me, they will adjust no matter age or experience.

If they want to promote a more balanced approach to ranked games they have to let the community police themselves by filtering matchmaking via feedback, disc % and shot distribution. 2k can't police the community. They won't be able to make a glitch free game and their slider set can't possibly be tested well enough. You've got to create a system where the community as a whole defines the parameters.

No, I don't expect 5v5 to work. If it does that will be a pleasant surprise.
