I've played a few games now and I love it.

+I couldn't force points in the paint
+for some reason I didn't feel like I was cheating when I used Kobe, i think because the moves look more realistic and smooth.
+SMOOTH
+contact was much better
+AI was exploiting me when I did something stupid
+looks and feels more like real basketball to me.

- I suck at defence, need some kind of defending tutorial!

Couple things to clear up:

1) Attached Bynum looks old, like really old to me. Maybe it's the shadows on his face. Other people don't think so?
2) I hope I'm wrong about seeing too many repeated animations. I think KyotoCarl is probably right that it is only the first quarter. Maybe some animations are even scaled back for the demo (it would go along with the missing commentary, plays, etc)
3) No commentary = good commentary for me . I guess as a first post it looked too "troll-y" so the joke was taken wrong and got me flamed a bit but atleast it got my 2 cents in among the 1000+ other posts.

I did enjoy the demo and will definitely keep playing it to get my basketball fix. I guess I'm in the minority that was hoping for a little bit more.

I posted some basic impressions about the game earlier in this thread, but I gotta repeat something and it has ta do with what you said here. I honestly don't think there's any anti-aliasing in the PS3 version of this demo. The edges are rough on a lot of objects in the arena - players and backboards included.

For some background on my experience, I have my PS3 attached to a 21.5" full HD monitor. I tried playing it on 720p and forced ( upscaled ) 1080p, but those damn jagged edges remain the same.

My assumption is that 2K Sports tried 2X AA with the PS3 version and the framerate dropped too much, so they disabled completely. They don't cater to the PS3's hardware at all. It's a shame.

I notice a few Jagged edges on mines at first but was able to use on of the presets on my TV and got rid of them for the most part, kinda hard to find anything to complain about in this game, a few people are just reaching like the the ball is to shiny guys.
Edit: I love the dunks in this game look so fluid and natural.
