Sports Game of the Year?

Ive played the show and its great truely great, i think NCAA Football 11 is up there too. But NBA 2k11 looks to appear to be the first truely classic next gen sports title, with all the modes the deep association and good online play. 2k maybe on pace for something greater...

Such as the greatest sports game ever. Without having played the full game thats lofty expectations but everything I have read, watched and listened to has basically said this game may set bars never achieved yet. 2k already has the gameplay, which they are improving on. And now they are tweaking associations logic and other stuff.

The game looks really good right now. But wait until you played it for at least one year. If you then still want to call it one of the best sports games ever made you're probably right.
Sometimes the flaws of a game become apparent only in the long run of playing it. I'm optimistic about 2k11 but won't call it GotY before it is released. NHL 11 looks really good as well for example.
