Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)

Hello, everyone. I posted here earlier about how I can't initiate my specific layup package moves. Well, I still haven't seen a Jamal Crawford shake and bake, but I'm doing fine.
I'm averaging 18 points on the year, but have been on fire lately, and won rookie of the month and player of the month. I'm a SG on the Wizards by the way, and we are somehow 4th in the East, and I dont know how.
We traded away Hinrich, Yi Jianlian, Al Thornton, and some other people, and we brought in: Ben Wallace, Derek Fisher, Austin Daye, and Kendrick Perkins. I dont remember the specifics of each trade, but it is so random to see Wallace and Fisher in Wizards unis.

One more question, and it may be a stupid one, but is there a way to do a jab step move? I think Ive seen it before. If not, whatever

the crawford shake and bake move is done with the flick-flick move when you have the crawford layup package

flick-flick: hold down L2(LT)...flick your R3(RS)..let it reset to it's center position...then flick AND hold the R3(RS) in a direction...it's random but you should be able to do it eventually...you have to do it sort of quick though

in order to do a jab step...get someone to pass you the ball...hold down L2(LT) and flick the L3(LS) to jab and create space...you could do this with or without picking up your dribble(probably more effective if you dont pick up your dribble since you can jab then drive)

Thanks for the Jab step help, but I'm having trouble with the shake and bake. Whenever I try the first flick, he stops in his tracks, and loses all momentum. Am I doing it too slow? Also, which direction should I move the sticks?

you probably need to move a bit quicker to the rim...it seems as though when you flick the stick down it makes your player stop...try flicking to the left or right(flick right if you're coming from the left, or flick left if you're coming to the hoop from the right) depending on the angle of your drive to the hoop

i still have trouble doing kobe's pivot shot consistently but i know it's achieved from the flick-flick

Still having trouble, I think my speed rating may be too low. Whatever, its really not a big deal. at all.

Argh, I just realized that if I had played a fastbreak style while I was in the Thunder we would've been much better. I was a noob and tried to run every play, which ended up in Durant jacking up a contested 3 most of the times

I'm a PG... but I can't call any plays or even a quick pick and roll which makes getting 5 assists in 18 minutes nearly impossible. Anyone know how I can call plays or at least get a quick pick and roll.
