Yuppers. I remember reading about this last year. It seems lame, but it makes sense when you consider our country's stance on censorship and innuendo.

If a player were to truly suck the gravity out of any given NBA arena, it'd result in tens of thousands of people bouncing around everywhere, likely knocking into each other and injuring themselves along the way. So again, the violence connotations. . .

Dropping tomahawk sledgehammers and anvil's is violent too I guess. Man what's the point of Harlan if he can't say any of his signature lines?

ESRB is really strict so for the sports titles to maintain the "E" rating the commentating has to be very docile.
