Now, I'm in the off-season. Yao got a 4 year deal, re-upped with Thabeet. Also brought back Adelman as coach. Now I'm heading toward the draft and want to trade Scola, but not sure who to go after.

I got about 4-5 guys who might get traded/released before the season starts.

Any clue on any good backup PFs? I thought about Anthony Randolph from Minny...
Dang, Yao+Thabeet= TAALLL frontcourt. I bet you're getting a LOT of rebounds

For a good backup PF, I would recommend Darrell Arthur (Memphis) or Jason Thompson (Sacramento). Both have pretty good mid-range shooting abilities. Jason Thompson has incredible potential. I got him up to an 85 overall in one year. If you nurture Thompson, he will become a VERY dominant PF with a crazy mid-range stroke.

22-18 in games I played, 18-22 in simmed games.

2nd in the division, 7th seed in the playoffs.

Game 1 against the Celtics (2 seed) I lose Bogut, and have both JR Smith and Gerald Wallace hurt significantly.

Game 2 I finally win on the new sliders with the best ball distribution I have ever had.

Ronnie Brewer - 30 pts
Ersan Ilyasova - 21 pts
Larry Sanders - 20 pts
Drew Gooden - 14 pts
Brandon Jennings - 13 pts (28 assists)
Luc Richard Mbah a Moute - 11 pts
Gerald Wallace - 11 pts
JR Smith - 6 pts
Keyon Dooling - 1 pt

I won 127-117. It was ****.
I just switched to Superstar sliders also.

But I just lost the first game of the series to the Bucks. I was up the whole first half. 3rd half they locked down on defense and made a run. I gave them the benefit of the doubt of winning. The game went down to the wire, I made a stupid move to put a double team on Brandon Jennings for like the last minute or so. Sure as hell the double team came leaving Irsalvao(sp) open down low for a dunk. So I was down by 1, then BJ got a and 1 and made me down by 4. I made a quick shot with CP3, CP3 had 41 points 9 assist dude was hella clutch that game. So it comes to where I have to play the foul game and the damn game won't let me foul AT ALL! I swear to god it was the most ridiculous thing Ive ever seen. Brandon Jennings was just sittin there milking the clock not moving at all, I'm pressing select hard as hell nothing, so I try a reach in still no cigar SMFH. Cheated definitely.

After playing the 1st 10 games of my nets fantasy season, we are 8-2. Falling to the Heat and Cavs. I then beat them back in the 2nd game I played them. Anyways, link to my dynasty is on page 405 or 406 I believe. Check it out if u want to follow!

Amare didn't make it because he got injured like 2 weeks before the game, but he was healthy enough to play when the time came and they didn't let him play. They didn't let CP3 play i nthe game either. Paul only has played 62 games for me due to injury, he definitely should of made over John Wall who numbers was lower then CP3. Wall made the All-Star game as a rookie also, that's slight unrealistic.

Heat ended up with the number 1 record. LeBron won MVP. 2K seriously needs to something about this he wins it literally every year it's annoying. STAT and Melo were 3rd and 4th in MVP standings tho Spolestra won Coach of the year. Arenas won 6th man of the year, Tyrus Thomas won defensive player of the year. Derrick Williams won ROY. Most improved was Ty Lawson and 6th man of the year was Lou Williams.

Shaq is still bitching about playing time and says he's outta NY after the season. Dude seriously wants me to play him 30+ minutes, I have to Centers to develop in Mozgov and Jeremy Tyler(R). Oh yeah I lost my previous data. Long story short, I had my regular association saved and a backup file saved a few games behind incase anything. So I resigned to the Nets to edit their minutes and forgot to switch back to the Knicks before I turned off the game, so it would freeze everytime I would try to resign back to the Knicks. So I had to countinue off the backup file that was a few games behind, so basically the Iverson trade never happened.

So now fast forward to the Playoffs, when I went to go check who my 1st round opponent was gonna be, I seen it was the Bucks and litterally started laughing out loud. Then I checked the team stats and seen they have the lowest scoring offense in the league, so it should be easy. But here's the catch we have the worst defense in the league giving up the most points to opponents. This series is gonna come down to Brandon Jennings and which team rebounds better. Young Money leads Milwaukee in basically everything so if I shut him down the series is over. They also have Wesley Mathews I believe, I checked his defense ratings he's a lockdown defender so Melo will have his hands full. So if we could stop BJ and win the rebounding matchup this series is ours. Only thing is where also the worst rebounding team in the league, this a personal problem with me tho I'm terrible at securing rebounds.

I'm excited this is my first Playoff series since I purchased the game and I plan on playing every single matchup. I'm off fellas
I totally agree with you on 2k editing the LeBron James for MVP deal. I'm in my second year witih the Knicks... im putting up astronomical numbers with melo shooting 51% averaging nearly 30 per game. Lebron is the leading candidate for MVP and there are players playing better than. LBJ is averagin 25 per game with 7 asssists per. I'm averaging 28 per game with 7 rebounds per with melo. KD is averaging 31 per game with 9 rebounds and 2 blocks per game. Derrick rose is also playing better than lebron. i dont see why he's still the leading candidate for mvp

Kings Recieve:
Lamar Odom (71 w/LA) (78 w/Sac)
Trey Johnson (58)
2011 1st rd pick

Lakers Recieve:
Marcus Thornton
Jason Thompson

I think this trade makes sense for both teams. Thornton was saying all year he would be leaving for FA after the season and Evans is the SG of the future anyway. Thompson is a great player but just not quite good enough to be a starter. For the Lakers, Thornton is a great backup to come in and score right away off the bench, giving Kobe more rest so he will be fresh for the playoffs. He also has the potential to take over the starting spot when Kobe retires if he decides to stay in LA. They also get a good PF in Thompson who would be more willing to come off the bench for Pau.

My old rotation:

Evans/Udrih
Thornton/Evans/Greene
Garcia/Casspi/Greene
Thompson/Cousins
Cousins/Dalembert

My new rotation:

Udrih/Evans
Evans/Greene
Garcia/Casspi/Greene
Odom/Cousins
Cousins/Dalembert

My offseason plan as of now is to draft the best point guard available with my 1st pick, take the best player available with the lakers 1st pick, and sign a starting small foward in free agency.
Well I decided to go ahead and sim most of the games after the All Star Break so I could get into the offseason and be ready to play most the games in the 2nd season. My offseason was a huge success. It went exactly how I planned above.

I picked up team options on Evans (who is now an 86) and Casspi (68), and declined options on Greene, Jackson, and Taylor.

I was disappointed to see that Samuel Dalembert decided to test free agency because he was a great backup for Cousins.

I drafted Jimmer Fredette with the 9th overall pick. Took Travis Leslie with the 25th pick (Lakers). Drafted a 62 rated PF in the 2nd round and on the very last pick of the draft, the Heat offered me the last pick and James Jones for 2nd year pg Eugene Jeter (64). I decided to go ahead and do it because Jeter wouldn't see the floor and already said he would be leaving after this year. I used the last pick to pick up another 62 rated PF.

I used my cap room to give a big 4 year 40 million dollar offer to Thaddeus Young. He accepted. I also signed DeAndre Jordan to a multi year deal to take Dalembert's place as the atheletic defensive backup Center.

My new lineup:

Jimmer (68)/Udrih (67)
Evans (86)/Leslie (65)
Young (76)/Garcia (68)/Casspi (68)/Jones (58)
Odom (76)/Rookie (62)/Rookie (62) (Cant remember the names)
Cousins (78)/Jordan (68)

I really like how the new team looks. Jimmer has 83 mid and 3. We have good atheletic finishers in Evans, Young, and Odom along with a great post thread in Cousins. With them forcing the D to collapse, all Jimmer has to do is spot up and shoot 3s. Evans can even help with the ball handling duties if Jimmer is ever struggling. Our second unit is very defensive minded. Leslie is very athletic with a 77 on ball defense and Jordan can control the paint. I expect to fight for a low playoff seed this year and if I get to year 3, I expect to be in the Western Conference Finals.

Re: 2011 NBA Playoffs (L.A. Clippers)

Kings have a surprising young PG in their roster on 2k11. I don't if he's actually that great in real life, but Eugene Jeter is a great mid-range shooter. I use him as my 6th man under the newly acquired Jameer Nelson

I loved the post. Solid team, keep us updated I wanna see how this turns out. I love that you kept it realistic and didn't make a super team like everyone else.

Agreed it's so annoying, it bothers the hell out of me.

Update on my Knicks. We the lost first game at home, but won the second one completing blowing them out. Hopefully I can continue the success in the 2nd game the rest of the series.

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)

I have won three NBA championships with the Heat on Superstar. Does not hurt that I also drafted a currently 95 PF/C.
