I recently turned mine off and it has helped as far as the CPU having crazy runs and me missing shots that should go in. When I had it on before i could not get a lead past 10 pts for some reason. I am playing All Star/Sim(custom) moved three pointers up to 47 for cpu/hum

Definetly agree. You win some you lose some. Just gotta play sound defense and good offense to win in any fourth quarter situation. Good post though

You gotta play smart. I was playing with the Heat in my association with clutch factor on, and since I was resting my starters most of the game because we had a few games in a row and they were already exhausted, it went to overtime against the Grizzlies. Grizzlies started out well, and went ahead by 6 with 2 minutes left and they were hitting some shots they weren't hitting in other quarters. Well, I gave it to LeBron and he made some crazy good shots, including one shot where we were down by 1 and he faded away, double clutched, and banked it in with just over 18 seconds left on the clock. You just gotta use timeouts wisely, slow it down and run plays to execute, and play smart basketball. Don't make any risky passes and try to find the mismatch on the floor. That's what I did and was able to come back, I think clutch factor works both ways, sometimes it works for you, sometimes it doesn't.

I think it's just a mental thing, it happens to me. If i get a big lead or just a double digit lead, i tend to slack off a bit and stop doing the things that got me the lead, then cpu will make their run. I play 12 min quarters and i think its just hard and near impossible to put together a consistent 48 min game. That's why 12 min quarters are great because the game is all about runs, so when cpu goes starts to go on a run it puts pressure on you and makes you do stupid things. Calling timeouts seems to help slow momentum. The same thing applies to you when you go on a run, its impossible to sustain the whole game otherwise you'd be winning every game by 40-50 points, then you should probably bump up difficulty and sliders.

So far i've had blowout wins on pro and allstar sim, gonna try superstar next.

Last night I played a game in my Boston Association against Milwaukee. The Bucks came got hot in the first half. They went on one 17-6 run and I battled back a bit then they went on a 15-3 run. The most a was down by was 19. Then in the second half Ray Ray and Nate the Great both caught fire. I cut the lead down to 8 to start the 4th. Then I out scored them 37-27 in the 4th.

In the final 6 seconds Rondo sunk two free throws to tie the game. They called their timeout to move the ball up-court. Paul Pierce intercepted the pass, tossed ahead to Rondo on the fast-break and Rondo slammed it home with .2 seconds left. Celtics win by 2. Human clutch factor, FTW!
