Hmmm on second thought not every team was fixed. Just played the Thunder and Durant took 40 shots. He was 11 for 40. No plays ran at all for Westbrook or Green.

Looks like some teams don't run the same 4-5 plays over and over while other teams do. All teams must use the entire playbook at least once a game.

Played around with the newest Roster and did not see any gameplay improvements (more plays being called and better distribution of shots taken by teammates). So I guess I'll be sticking with my custom roster and continue with my association till the "Patch" comes out.

After a few games with the new rosters, in association so plays are called, there's improvement.

The basic problem, IMHO, is that touches isn't the right solution. 2K implemented a static player stat to determine which players touch the ball most often.

#1 touches is a team issue. A coach determines who gets the ball most often based on their ability. When a high touch guy is traded to another team all the players, as it is, have to be edited to make sure touches result in the right guys getting the shots.

Example:

Joe Leadfoot is the best player on the expansion Sloths. He scores 22 points a game as the Sloths run to a 10 win season. Joe is a 32% shooter but the best of a bad bunch of players. His touches on the Sloths is set to 90, because he gets the ball all the time and is expected to take the shots even though he isn't that great a scorer.

Joe leaves the Sloths in FA. The Lakers pick him up for his tough D. Joe shouldn't be a 90 touch guy on the Lakers. Based on his ability and the coach's judgment (in the game an algorithm) Joe would be more like a 40, someone who rarely gets the ball.

in 2K11 Joe would still be a 90 touch guy, getting plays run for him, until someone edited him.
