Any DLC or Shoe Codes coming 2k???

I know EA had a deal with Nike for exclusive colors of the Kobe's and for the Durant's last year. They even mentioned it in one of their shoe blogs for Live last year. I hear that they had the deal in place for this year as well but I haven't seen anything in print stating that it was still in place.

Thanks for the info, Live had it right last year even had more jordans too.
Maybe w/ ea falling apart as we speak, 2k will be able to up their shoe game.

Yeah EA had an exclusive deal with Jordan too. They was the only company that could have any Air Jordans in their game. That's why 2K only had Brand Jordan shoes up until this year.

I would like 2K to add more kicks as well but it will all depend on what the asking price is from Nike and the others. I remember a couple of years ago there was no Reeboks in the game cause the asking price was too high for 2K.

Serously, I don't get this whole thing. These companies (Nike, Adidas...) spend millions in Atheletes, TV, Magazines... just for advertising reasons and they ask 2k for money if they want to put their shoes in the game???

This videogame sells millions of copies, most of them to basketball fans. So do you know any cheaper way to reach millions of basketball fans and show 'em your sneakers at zero price?

This is common sense here but these companies just don't feel the same way.

I'd really like to know if increased exposure in a video game increases sales. And by what percentage.

Is not having Kevin Durant's Nike really effect sales?

How much overlap is there w/ the Sneaker Buying community and the Basketball video game community.

Is the 18 year old who see various sneakers in a game prompted to buy those sneakers?

I never see anyone rockin' the Team Jordan sneakers ever. Plenty of classics yes, but the Iso, Team, etc..... i really doubt featuring them in this game is going to increase sales.

Now dont get me wrong - i like to have those options and much more when choosing kicks in the game, but I'd rather have those optioned increased just for video game fashion sake, and not because im looking to shop online via 2K11.
