BTW:

This may have already been said, but 20 second timeout interface is now in PS3.

It's definitely different. With the shooting animations I chose for my PG in My Player, using the same release timing from before now results in a late release.

I say read through the impressions here and decide for yourself. I say yes, but ultimately it's your decision. Also, if you want to log in and play online you'll need the new patch.

If you would've told me that I had to live with these over powered dunks at the expense of the patch forcing me to relearn everyone's jump shot due to the alteration of the timings, I would have chosen the former.

Oh well, I guess the re playability of the game has been enhanced in what seems like an entirely different game pre patch. Back to the lab!

Do they ever release second patches?

Anyway, I like that the game just feels easier to play and not in a cheap way.

One thing I was hoping was fixed was that during signature highlights, they ONLY show baskets. I was hoping they would at least add assists. Oh well...
