Chandler, Gallinari and Eddie Curry??
Chandler, Fields and ..............

What do you guys think would be a fair trade?
I saw on ESPN that the Knicks will not trade Fields or Chandler along with Gallo.

That would be extremely stupid and I agree 100% with the Knicks for this.

I for one do not see a trade for Carmelo, but if it did go through. I see the following.

Gallo, Curry and a 1st round pick. That they would acquire from another team by trading Randolph.

The Knicks right now are playing great basketball, and are not as desperate to get another elite player like some may think.

Right now the chemistry on the Knicks is amazing, and the team is getting better every week.

They are young, and if patient the players we have now can become stars of their own.

Melo comes to the Knicks via free agency, unless Denver is willing to take less, but the Knicks will not break up this team.

To be honest I don't see Galo going anywhere.

This was the only way I could keep Gallo and Fields on the team. I have to keep Gallo because I am emotional attached after meeting him at a Rangers game. He was the nicest athlete I've ever met.

Additional trades that the cpu will accept are: Chandler, Gallo, Randolph, and a first rounder for Melo, Balkman, and Anderson. Usually for Chandler, Gallo, and Randolph you can get Melo along with two 1 star players as long as the salaries match. But who knows whats gonna happen IRL.
Man how can you give up Chandler??? This guy here is a great player and more valuable to the team that many even realize.

The Knicks will not be breaking up the team for Melo. I know he is great, but the Knicks have something really special going on, and they want to see how this pans out.

We have a great squad.

Felton,Fields,Chandler,Galo, and Stoudemire. How the hell can you have 5 players on the court at once , and all of them can drive to the basket or shoot a Jumper? This is a young team, and when they get even better playing with each other is going to be the most difficult team to defend.

Re: If you would start a Knicks Franchise with Melo...

I think the Nets have a pretty good shot at getting Melo. They have 5 1st Rd Draft picks that cover the next couple years and they're planning on moving their arena to Brooklyn, New York. It's just about patience for Melo and I think if the Nets made the trade for him, they could give him a tour of whats to come and hopefully persuade him. It's crazy, but it just might work.

The Knicks do have the best shot but I really think the Nets are just behind them in the race. I agree with most people in this thread in regards of not breaking up the Knicks if they're already doing amazing. Some could argue that this could give them a huge boost on chances of getting deep into the playoffs but at the same time you're gutting out your team...and your team is amazing atm.
