Euro Step: How to do it on PS3?

Hey guys, this guy I'm playing uses the Warriors and I use the Jazz, but he's been taking advantage of the Euro step every time on a fastbreak or on a one on one situation with Monta Ellis/Stephen Curry. He simply performs a euro step and will usually make it or get fouled if I try to come with help D and block it. If I pack the paint beforehand usually it'll be unsuccessful. My question is: how can I stop the euro step and how do I do it myself on the PS3? I've tried practicing it but can't do it.. I'm thinking if I could figure it out I'd be scoring a lot more on fastbreaks with Deron Williams rather than having to pull the ball out and reset the offense half the time when I can't beat my man. Thanks for the help in advance.

If you have the shot stick set to "Camera Relative" in the options, it's L2+right stick toward the basket.

If you have the shot stick set to "Absolute" in the options, it's L2+right stick up.

You can also do hop step lay ups (by moving the stick left or right) and spin lay ups (moving the stick away from the goal) using this too.

Re: Euro Step: How to do it on PS3?

Sorry to bump an old thread, but two things:

A.) At what point do you press LT/L2 and the Right analog stick? Do you do it around the free throw line or closer?

B.) What is the best defense against this? I have a buddy who uses the Thunder. Westbrook is really fast, and my buddy refuses to play with sliders on. He just puts it at Hall of Fame and thinks everything is ok. So Westbrook gets like 20 points a game and at least 14-16 of those come from Eurostep where I will have 3 guys around him including my center, but nobody wants to contend the shot. they just stand there, jumping straight up with their backs turned away from Westbrook. It's frustrating because he is only beating me by like 4-6 points and is running his mouth like he is god's gift to the game.
