What do you mean you protect 8 guys from each team? I mean i get what protect means, but how do you go about having an expansion draft?

Basically teams select 8 players, the remaining players are pooled together and then selected by the teams that are drafting. (IE The Bobcats didn't protect Dominic McGuire say, and then the expansion team would select him) From there the expansion team selects from 12-15 players to fill out the roster.

I just do it before the association with my spreadsheet - I put all the new players on the team I am replacing then swap it with the Sonics then go into association.

Yellow is protected - green is who I selected you can use the Sonics tab to build your team

Oh I gotcha now. Yeah that stuff's always fun to do.

I'm definitely going to do this, only difference is I'm going to send all the Thunder players to the Sonic's and use the Thunder as my expansion team. My only question is what did you do with the extra player's on the Raptors, did you just leave them there and switch the Raptors with your new Sonics so they're not included in the Assoc or did you put them in FA? Other than that awesome idea!
