It's called Inception. A play within a play within a play.

Re: NBA 2K12 Video - Play of the Day: Dallas Mavericks (Sim Citi)

Czar can we please get a orl vid this year. I know SVG offense is more complex then what meets the eye as he is an offensive minded coach. It is more then just pick and roll, and kick out to 3 pt shooters, or throw the ball to dwight in the post. I hope 2k playbook for orl shows that this year with all the branching.

And yea the ones that learn there teams playbook will be tough to stop. Last year the playbooks were so simple to learn. They were mostly either pick and rolls, iso, or someone running off a screen and that was it. You could find a second option but the play would dead if the person the play was for didnt run the play right, or was being locked down the first time.

Also i listened to the intro about 5 times lol. "All opponents still feeling the hurt, the pain of them losing got them falling, my shots make em stumble like dirk." Nice. I still have "Ten teams, ten days, retro ten days, i can get to the basket more then 10 ways", stuck in my head. And everytime i hear the kayne beat i sing that first line lol. If they can pay drake or kayne money to have a track on 2k im sure they can pay sage on to have a track. But I think that has more to do with marketing and them being able to say to the casual gamers, "Hey look we have drake on our game"

Not really. There are a few. I spent most of the time working on the current teams for the branches. I believe it was said in the insight but not everybody has branching plays. Also as you can expect some plays are shared between teams also that is why you will see teams appearing to call plays from other playbooks.

There are LOT of interesting things that happen during a dev period and it is not at all as cut and dry and it seems. LOL. You really wouldn't believe how much work goes into making even small changes. Makes me respect how much work they and dev's in general put into the games.

I captured them. Hopefully I get to do them also. JVG has a nice system. I went broad rather than too deep as I mentioned earlier. I wanted you to get a descent feel that your playing a different team. IF i get another shot at them you can bet your last money I am going to go hard. Since they base plays are all authentic and usable they won't have to be thrown out.

Except for the classic team plays all the plays from last year were scrapped and rewritten from scratch.
