On the list of things I wanted to hear, this was not one of them. In fact, it's the opposite of something I'd want to hear. I am very hopeful this is not the case.

How would the exporting team work around work? I'm not familiar with that. If I'm trying to have an all time association, can I make a team with say Magic and Kobe on it?

wait...does this mean we can't add missing players as well? If we can't release the generic players then we're stuck with what we have...

according to eureca323 at gamefaqs no it appears as if you could only do this during season mode.

If this turns out to be true, 86% of the fire I had for this game would be extinguished. I remain hopefully there'd still be some backdoor ability to get the game to act as we please. But I do not want to get too far ahead of myself on this one. I can't really see why 2K would remove such an ability.

This makes me sad. I loved making fantasy teams with the past and present and using them in an association.
