Monta Ellis trade suggestions

Does anyone have a suggestion for a realistic trade of Monta Ellis? What do you think would be good value and what teams would want him?

Chicago needs starting quality SG. Maybe you could unload Boozer's contract.

Re: Monta Ellis trade suggestions

Depends on what you are trying to do, he HAS to be put next to a decent sized big, so that leaves few options unless you find a team with a defensive monster down low. I'd actually trade Stephen Curry to be honest, this is what i'd do:

I'd send Curry, Biedrins to Utah for Al Jefferson, Devin Harris and CJ Miles.

You get back a guy who can play the 4 or the 5 in Jefferson, a big defensive PG in Harris who is a great fit next to Ellis and an inconsistent CJ Miles who people think still has potential.

You end up with a lineup of:

A. Jefferson - E. Udoh
D. Lee - L. Amundson
D. Wright - R. Williams
M. Ellis - CJ Miles
D. Harris - J. Lin

Unfortunately you are handicapped because of Lee's big contract, so you need to find a defensive C down the line but you have a much better team overall, IMO

I don't see Chi-Town taking Monta simply because of his play style, I see them taking an O.J Mayo type player who doesn't need to have to isolate and score. Someone who can come off of screens and knock down the jumper.

Monta trades were talked about last season alot, Orlando, Philadelphia and Charlotte are in the talks. Charlotte would not be realistic in the game because of the exclusion of Rookies, Brandon Bass and Jason Richardson for Monta but that wouldn't really be that great for you gameplay wise.

Iggy for Monta straight up would be an okay turn out.

Pau Gasol and Shannon Brown were offered last season, maybe you can pick the trade talks back up and move Pau or David Lee to Center.

Re: Monta Ellis trade suggestions

I would really prefer to keep Curry. I like him a lot better. I don't really see Chicago taking Ellis either and I don't know who I could (realisticly) get from them. I don't know who I could get from Boston. Any other suggestions?
