Video of Maneuvering Capabilities Without Using Turbo

Everytime I see this thread bumped, I come looking for a vs CPU vid. My one on one skills vs the CPU are terrible so I'm hoping to see some examples of people using isomotion on CPU defenders successfully.

It looks good for the situation they made it for. Open court, ahead of defenders. They need to make it contextual so that ball handlers are not throwing the ball out in front of them in traffic. But I'm sure this was done to keep turbo cheesers in check. Too bad for the fast break.

I'll try to make one but I'm on that graveyard shift. There's not much you can really do that guarantee you'll get past the defense but I will tell you not to think drive every time you iso, if you have a defender who is jumpy on D cook his az with the dribble pull up moves which are very effective in this game if you use them right. I always use them just for the dribble animations not always the shot then do it again in the same dribble, whatever floats your boat cuzo..........set a pick, get a switch!

I'm not looking for guaranties. Just some tips.

I have no problem getting space for jumpers. The step back move alone works for that.

I just have trouble driving against the CPU. Almost all of my points in the paint are from post ups. Actually, driving from the post has worked for me. The spin & drive moves work too well at times. I just can't get good ball handlers on the perimeter around CPU defenders.

It's very tough to beat CPU defenders one on one. Practice mode helps -- either practice plays or run a scrimmage.

Doing a scrimmage gives you lots more reps for the time you put in than playing a game does, so you can concentrate on trying out different things and not get bogged down with time-outs, subbing, fouls, highlights, etc.

Practicing plays is another good option -- find an iso play or a pick play and just experiment trying to beat your man.

You can even get some iso experience in the post moves practice mode, if you just try to score off the dribble instead of posting up.

Sometimes it helps to the game speed down too, so you can try out different moves and have some success, and then move the speed back up once you get a feel for what works.

theres so much you can do without turbo. the ballhandleing is so responsive 2k never gets credit for that. you can also cross over without useing the LT trying dribbling with just the stick and combine it wit your style it will be nice. i do a non LT cross and then a LT cross with a slight HES and i break ankles all day. i have no problems what soever getting to the rim and dunking. if i new how to post vids i would. but im working on a roster right now ill reaserch vids next week. but sick video im on 360 iRONWORK.

I wish I could do any of those moves

It seems with the player I use the most (Rondo), all I can ever do is crossover, sizeup, and hesitation (and hesitation behind the back). Even if I do the right motions and use the right buttons, I can't do double crossover, and I can hardly ever do hesitation crosses or any other moves.

What's funny is I NEVER use turbo for dribbling(except when i'm driving to tha cup) just depends on who you are using and what type of ball handler you have.
