2k should be ashamed of 2k12

Not sure what Rosters you guys are playing with BUT they can make a difference in what you guys are experiencing. I see alot of guys having the CPU make shots that seem impossible. IF you are using 2k Rosters, then No matter what you cut OFF in Sliders or Gameplay options it STILL reverts back to how the players are Rated in Attributes and Abilities. If 2k gave the player a High Clutch Attribute Rating then it will make them hit more shots. If they gave them a High Close or Mid-range Attribute Rating then some of the Big Men are going to hit those Shots. Tendencies are also REALLY out of whack. MOST Big men have their Tendencies Really High in ALOT of areas, this causes them to shoot the Mid-Range jumpers and other things people are experiencing. There are a TON of factors that can cause what you guys are experiencing. THIS year has taken ALOT more time to make the game play right than EVER before. WHOEVER was in charge of Manufacturing and Testing of the Attributes, Abilities, Tendencies and Hot Spots REALLY DROPPED THE BALL.

I'm using Alby's 3rd roster set on PC and generally play My Player...The difference is negligible at best, honestly; I really think the live ball physics and animations is what really tore this game up this year.

there have been games when i played @ the cpu's home stadium and the ai just he them SET on winning. i mean, sometimes they throw so many bs shots/plays against me, i bump it from all star to rookie just to catch up. if they bs, f***, i'll bs them too.

but hey you guessed it - even on rookie they play like a 5 man michael jordan.

I get that people like 2k12 and want to defend it but to act as if the AI isn't a bit screwy is being in denial. Sliders, difficulty level and playing smarter have nothing to do with it. Using the excuse that comebacks happen in real life all the time is a cop out because they do not happen in the same way in the game.

I know just about every sports game has detractors who complain about how the CPU cheats or games being "scripted" and it can be annoying but there is a legit problem in 2k12 and hopefully it gets better with the new game.

To be honest I do not own 2k12, but I own 2k11 and even there were many situations where the gameplay difficulty changed drastically while the course of a game, especially with a huge lead.

And I really mean gameplay difficulty. Missing open shots, unstoppable AI offense and big rallies out of nowhere are nothing new for me. In 2k11 also the frequency for this was quite high for me. It sometimes felt like you were playing rookie before and all of a sudden the AI changed into god mode.

And yes, I did tweak my gameplan, defensive setups, I called timeouts etc.

Everyone else who does not realize that in 2k games (you can even see such things in MLB 2k) are such things that are simply unreal should take a closer look at the game he is playing.
