Re: Online Quitters
I quit for the first time today.
After kicking back, relaxing and giving online as best a shot as i could, it's lasted a couple of months and now I am officially done.
My record was 70 - 60 in the end. Played as realistic as humanly possible, but after so many games, I've finally realised that 2k online favours poor players. It's almost to the point that it's scripted. I've played with all kinds of teams, from the great to the poor, but it seems for every wide open 7 foot jumper I clang off the rim, the cheeser is hitting step back fade away 40 footers with two defenders in their face. For every open layup I take that rolls out of the rim, the cheeser is smashing down 2 handed dunks over 3 defenders. There's just too much of a pattern there to call it coincidence. This game is clearly designed to help novice scrubs. It rewards pathetic play. I can post up with dream, shake my defender with gorgeous footwork get to the rim and.......CLANG. Yet another wide open miss. Whereas I have to sit and watch in pure rage as the mature cheddar unfolds before my eyes, players running in circles, my opponents finger glued to the turbo button, round and round and round untill....SMASH. Yep, half my team get dunked on by Durant from just inside the freethrow line.
I'm done. This game online is utter ****.
