1985-86
- Shot Creator: Able to score at will in ISO situations
- Acrobat: Excellent hang time
- Pick Pocket: Great at playing pass lanes which often led to the next skill
- Highlight Reel: Spectacular dunks in the open court
- Posterizer: Dunked on people, A LOT

Honorable Mention:
- Microwave: Would go on scoring sprees, including 63 and 49 in the playoffs that year. But he had more 40+, 50+, and 60+ games during the late 80's.

1988-89
- Shot Creator: Able to score at will in ISO situations
- Acrobat: Excellent hang time
- Lockdown: Excellent on ball and off ball ability. Won DPOY the previous season.
- Microwave: Had ten 40+ games and five 50+ games.
- Posterizer: Dunked on people, A LOT. Removed highlight reel since he became less flashy. He should still pull out some highlight dunks due to his dunk package

Honorable Mention:
- Floor General: He played PG a lot that season, but really looked for his own numbers instead of making the team better.

1990-93, 1st three-peat
- Shot Creator: Able to score at will in ISO situations
- Acrobat: Excellent hang time
- Lockdown: Excellent on ball and off ball ability
- Finisher: Got tired of being bullied by the Pistons, so he bulked up in order to finish while being hit.
- Floor General: Directed traffic on offense along with Pip.

Honorable Mention:
- None

1995-98, 2nd three-peat
- Shot Creator: Able to score at will in ISO situations
- Lockdown: Excellent on ball and off ball ability
- Finisher: Bulked up even more during this time. Got to the foul line often
- Floor General: Directed traffic on offense along with Pip.
- Dead Eye: Deadly midrange at the point.

Honorable Mention:
- None

Some may wonder why I would not (won't in my roster) give him DEAD EYES earlier in his career. I want to show the difference in his scoring styles. Primarily a driver when he was younger, and he shot more jumpers in his later days.
Perfect take on MJ, I wish we could add 6 SS sets, I would give him Dead Eye in some of his earlier years, because his jumper was always money, he just could do so many other things great and did not have to rely on it. MJ should be the only player to have more than 5 SS because he was the most complete player in basketball history, hence his 99 rating throughout his prime years, in 2K, the guy really had no flaws, unlike Lebron who has all the natural physical skill set gifts to eclipse MJ, but lacks the most important two of all, the MENTAL IQ and DRIVE to win at all cost. This is what separate him from every other NBA basketball player to come into the league. (Yes even Kobe)

I would also give him the PostProf SS skill, he was deadly in his later years skill in the post fadeaway, MJ deserves at least 8 SS slots, he was so complete. I feel like if we only can give him 5 SS we are doing him an injustice.

I think there are quite a few classic Bulls team, from Michael Jordan in sophomore season, early 90s and mid 90s. I hope 2k Sports would have different signature skills for him. Having signature might be one way for young gamers to get to know what the legend players' game really is... I wish 2K sports would have Rick Barry... he was just good (but not as a person as he was too cocky and still is. Like Kareem, his personality is the reason he could not land a NBA coaching job.

anyone notice that when you put classics team in association mode (customize league), many players with incorrect DOB, resulting many of them with incorrect age like 50 age old?! in 2K12. I hope 2k Sports would make correction to that.

And you trying to discredit the guy and act like he arguably isn't the Best Pg in the game. That's what not cool, Its completely understandable if a person thinks hes the best PG doing it right now so you acting as if its unfathomable proves you're just a ***** of the guys popularity.

SMH.......You sound foolish, a good team should be able to hold the fort down, everybody just forgets how the Bulls won 55 games the next year after MJ retired. What you're bringing up is completely useless because when it mattered most in the playoffs, they couldn't even get past the first round without him so..................

Dumbest comment I've seen thus far. You fail to realize the bulls lost game two which featured Noah and were down in game three before he got injured so um..........................................

Uh, derp. That's because they had the best wing defender in NBA history, who could also run an offense.
