my shot meter is all white, the timing thing shows all three stages. Need help

On rotation menu, I have one of my guys to play 40 mins per game, yet when I sim, he only averages 30 mins and is complaining about his playing time, despite the fact I've been setting him to 40 mins a game.

Check and see if his back up is the 6th man. For example, if you have a center set at playing 40 minutes a game but the back up center is at 18mins a game and he is the 6th man (player role) then for some crazy reason, the CPU will not rotate it right to get your starting center 40min.

This may not be the case but I know I've seen this happen a couple of times. Also check and see if your player as two positions. This will allow him to get more of his minutes as well.

I just started recently and had a key game for my first start... but i didn't start. The commentators act like I did, the post game interview act like i did... anyone else?

Do CPU-generated rookies enter the league, or develop, signature skills?

From what I've seen is that they enter with sig skills out of the draft. I'm unsure if they gain any during their careers.
