I had the same problem. I think you have to wait acouple of minutes, flick through acouple of different modes and then reload the Blacktop to always get your 1600 coins.

I went and bought some I use it to my career to get my guy starting at 75 to make it fair cause this yr sped and quickness suck for you my career player

You can rack up 1000 VC easy with a few quick games of blacktop 3on3.

Just create a save and use "save and exit" starategy to make sure you get top stats in the Rookie Showcase, A+ teammate grades, great performance and lots of highlights.. and make sure you save the game late in the 4th so you save right before the game end.
Then you will get some good VCs there and like 400+ or even more for great performance bonus after the interviews and once you get to the mock draft the VCs will get uploaded to the server and you can see the amount..

QUIT THE GAME AND RELOAD THE SAVE FROM THE ROOKIE SHOWCASE WITH PROBABLY SECONDS LEFT. WHOLE THING WOULD TAKE PROBABLY LIKE 5 MINS each time, the only thing suck is you have to go through the dreadful interviews over and over (I mean comeon I say I hate your team and you still gotta ask me a second question, comeon 2k get a brain) .. I just click x for everything through the whole darn thing.

That's how you can get 5000+ VC in an hour without any skill necessary.

You get 300 points for playing an Online game as opposed to 250 quick match. Plus acouple of bonuses if you play well.
