I don't know why you are all so furious with an overall rating when gameplay wise he's beasting...
thats against the computer, try using him in a ranked match, you will only be able to make standing dunks with him, he will lose the ball as soon as he tries to move, and misses easy buckets around the basket.

Well in quick ranked you wouldn't take the Pistons and play against the cheesefest of Thunder Lakers and Heat.Online is a different game altogether.Playing sim ball against friends though(offline) i can do the same things with him as well as vs the CPU.Oh and he also misses easy buckets and loses the ball vs human or CPU.That's his real life game though; no post game yet ,no offensive moves, minimum composure with the ball but he's an athletic freak and perhaps one of the few big men that can fastbreak(along with Javale McGee).

And a good fan post about why Drummond isn't ready yet for the starter job.Intriguing that he was beaten off the dribble by Gooden of all people.

Apparently, so did other teams in the draft too(notably Raptors).

I read somewhere he doesn't have a post game lol. What Rookie Center within the past year or so came in the league with a decent post game offensively? I really haven't seen one yet lol the league is crazy right now

He's doing the same exact thing he did in UCONN. Getting offensive rebounds and having SOMEONE create his shot.

My Bad you're probably right.Within the past year nobody but there have been some naturals the past five perhaps?De Marcus Cousins and Big Al Jefferson come to mind.Sullinger could be a natural too (although not a center). There has been a recent trend for young big men playing as undersized centers that faceup and dribble a lot more from the perimeter.Anthony Davis is in that mould and he is a starting center in the way Al Horford or Greg Monroe are continuing to play a lot of center minutes.

This^^^ ... Drummond has a lot of potential but right now all you can do is grab an offensive rebound and shoot in the paint. He truly was NOT ready to come out of UCONN, he should have tranferred to Missouri or something
