What's the best defense to run in nba 2k13?

Im a noobie and im wondering What's is the best defense to play in nba 2k13..1-3-1 2-3 3-2or man?please help

Man to man -- user on ball defense 100% -- learn to play that way and you will be able to play any defense effectively

depends what you want the offence to do. for example a 2-3 zone encourages perimeter shooting this zone is effective against players who like to drive and score in the paint but i find the 1-3-1 zone is the best ZONE because it causes alot of steals but it also leaves corners wide open so you have to be alert to that

agreed, plus adding a few traps here and there while in this defense increases your chance of getting steals.

Straight up man to man. Zone just reminds me that the NBA has become soft these days and they have to rely on guarding areas instead of their marks.

A little bit of trapping goes a long way too ala 90's Bulls.
