Should I run plays on offense or just freestyle I'm very confused help please!

Run plays -- you know where your guys are going to be on the court and it opens up more and you'll utilize your team better running plays.

And you don't have to make a new thread for every question you have.

Depends on what difficulty you're playing on actually. If you are playing on pro or all star then freestyle. It works just as good or better than running plays. Superstar or HOF you should run plays. Much easier to get your guys open and run some clock while doing it.

Combination of both....

Have a few go to plays, but don't rely on running each play all the way through. Take what the defense gives you, but don't force it. If all else fails, run a quick pick and roll or a quick post up.

There's no SHOULD about it. It's your game. Play however makes you happy.

If you're asking about what happens in the NBA, then I would say they run plays about
60-70% of the time on offense.

If you have more fun not setting up plays then go for it. If you wanna play on the "big boy" levels then you're gonna have to run plays to win eventually because, like the NBA, the defense is just too good to let you freestyle around and score.

However, I find the easiest thing to do to let the CPU AUTO run plays and have the play diagrams set on so you can just follow the flow of the offense.

Run plays unless you see an easily exploitable mismatch

Just mix it up and you'll be fine, keep the defense guessing
