Why is Kobe Bryant an A 3-Point Shooter?

Honestly. Someone answer this for me. The guy is dead-eye from deep and is a 35% 3 shooter?

Most the shots Kobe takes in real life are contested but I can't say the same for your games.

He is top 15 in 3's made but I agree alot of his attpts are contested

Because 2k rates the players shooting by volume and not percentage.

While He's not the most accurate in the world Some of the 3 pointers he makes are insane. I'm not condoning the shot selection, but when you nail those fadeawaynochaneatgoingin shots it counts for something.

I think that being in the top 50 3-point shooters in the league while shooting so many contested 3's, makes him a better 3-point shooter then many who have a better %, but get that by taking less numbers of contested 3's.

Also, 2k may have to rate him higher to represent his ability to hit contested shots the way he does - it may not be feasible to give him a lower rating.
